OCPS has now launched an application for a Judicial Review of the London Borough of Hounslow (LBH)'s decision to grant planning, challenging LBH, on the basis of illegality.

To proceed with a Judicial Review, OCPS needs to raise funds to cover the substantial legal costs.  We are a small charity and will be covering as much of the cost as we can, but this will not be nearly enough.  We have set up a Just Giving page and would be enormously grateful for any contribution that you are able to make:  https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/oppose1burlington

You are probably aware that on 7 August the Hounslow Council Planning Committee Councillors voted to approve the proposal for a tall building at 1 Burlington Lane on Hogarth Roundabout. Councillor John Todd was the only person who voted against….

Thames Water are proposing a new river abstraction on the River Thames, supported by water recycling. This will help support London during periods of prolonged dry weather.

On Thursday 7th August 2025, the planning committee of the London Borough of Hounslow will vote on whether to approve or reject planning permission for a 10-storey building adjacent to the Hogarth Roundabout.

Gov.uk have announced a consultation on the next night flight regime for 2025 onwards. The government sets night flight restrictions for three airports designated as having a noise problem.

The consultation ends 22 May 2024. The relevant question for us is Question 1

'To what extent do you agree or disagree with proposals for the next night regime for Heathrow?'
